Enjoy our great food that makes your mouth scream for more. \nChildren’s activities: circle in our wagon ride or jump in the moon walk. \nHomestead Hollow’s General store is open for you to visit and shop for those home-made fried pies and other great items all day during show dates. \nHomestead Hollow is located in Springville\, Alabama\, just 2 miles off I-59\, exit 154. 27 acres of parking and our trams make it easy to park\, get to the entrance and start having fun immediately. \nAdults – $8 ~ Children (ages 3 to 12) – $4\nChildren (ages 2 and under) – Free.\nFree Parking. DESCRIPTION:This is one of Birmingham’s oldest cultural food festivals and most highly anticipated events. The festival is an act of love of Birmingham’s Greek community going back to 4 generations. Besides delicious Greek cuisine\, you’ll enjoy live Greek music\, Greek dancing performances\, and a warm\, spirited atmosphere that embraces everyone as family. As thousands of returning patrons can attest\, you will leave a devoted fan. \nThe Holy Trinity – Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral Church began in 1906 and is one of the oldest Greek Orthodox parishes in the United States. The Cathedral architecture is breathtaking so don’t miss the chance to take a guided tour all three days on an ongoing basis. A portion of the festival proceeds will benefit different charities and ministries across the Birmingham area. \nFree parking is available in the old Liberty National building on 3rd Avenue and 20th Street South.  Drive-Thru and Take-Out are available all three days. The event is free admission\, offers indoor and outdoor dining\, and food plates are individually priced. Be sure to visit The Greek Market Place which has imported food\, icons\, fine jewelry\, art\, and much more.

Enjoy special keeper chats at 10:30am\, 11:30am and 1:30pm as well as learning stations throughout Trails of Africa and a special visit from Matt Lindenberg\, founder of Global Conservation Corps and the Rhino Man project. In addition\, the Birmingham Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers will be selling unique items and all proceeds will be donated to conservation! World Rhino Day activities are free for Zoo Members and included in general admission for guests.
