With the the release of the final film, Potter Mania is in full effect! What better way for us Muggles to celebrate our love of the wizarding world than with a Read a Thon and party?
The Desert Island Supply Co is hosting a read-a-thon at Emmet O’Neal Library in Mountain Brook this weekend. Kicking off with two men appearing out of nowhere, a few yards apart in a narrow, moonlit lane, Friday morning at 6am. The festivities will continue on Friday night with a Hogwarts Food and Craft Fair. There will be butterbeer, a wand-making booth and other fun Hogwartsian activities.
The Read a thon will be going on Saturday and Sunday wrapping up with Prizes awarded for top fundraising individual and team, best costumes and reading performance.

Schedule Details:
Saturday, July 23, 10 AM-noon — Read-a-thon participants will apparate to the Pepper Place Saturday Market for special reading appearances by Harry, Hermione, Dumbledore, McGonagall and others.
Sunday, July 24, 2:30 PM — Harry Potter Read-a-Thon ends with last pages read by mystery reader who shall not be named
