Easter Egg Hunts around Town…

Alabaster

Albert Scott Library

Easter egg hunt – enjoy story and music with Miss Spring in the mobile unit of the Albert Scott library and then hunt for eggs on the grounds. Wed April 8 10:30 for young children. Easter bunny will be there also.

Veteran’s Park

City of Alabaster City Wide Easter Celebration Sat. April 11 at Veterans Park on 119 (in ALABASTER). 9 a.m. start with games, inflatables and an egghunt Website

Moncreif Park

The second-annual night-time Easter Egg Hunt will be held April 4 at Moncrief Park behind the tennis courts. The event is free and there will be food, games and prizes. Bring your flashlight. ** no time listed for this event **

Mt Olive Road

The Great Egg Drop will take place April 4 on Mount Olive Road about 2 miles west of I-65. There will be inflatables and free drinks and snacks while we wait on the helicopter to arrive. The eggs will be stuffed with candy and many of them with certificates for prizes from local merchants. All kids are welcome! Black Creek Park

There will be a community Easter egg hunt on April 5 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at Black Creek Park. This will include the egg hunts, games, pictures with the Easter bunny, a light hot dog supper and much more. This free event is sponsored by Gardendale-Mt. Vernon UMC, Call 631-7631

The hunts starts promptly on time. Please come early, so that your child will be able to get in line and hunt with their age group. There will be lots of fun for all, and many cute photo opportunities so bring your camera!

The Homewood Easter Egg Hunt is for toddlers up to twelve years of age. Children will hunt for eggs with children of their on age group. There is also a section for children with special needs.

Date: Saturday April 4, 2009
Time: Hunt begins at 11am sharp. It does not take to long for all of the eggs to disappear! Moon Walk, Train Ride and Merry Go Round will be available prior to and just after the event. Live music on the stage beginning at Noon.
