52 New Things – Week 39

Yet another new recipe but this time it was an EPIC success! Epic! It’s not a difficult recipe but it does take a bit of prep work. My new thing this week is big girl weights.  I’ve been working out regularly for over 1 1/2 years now.  I always stick to the medium size weights because I can’t imagine my toothpick arms carrying the load of the big ones.  This week, I decided to go big.  I put on the big weights and started my clean and presses, then the squats…  I may or may not have thrown my back out, and I had a hard time sitting the next day, but I did it.  Stronger than I thought, and all the work is paying off!
